March 13th was the last day of school for Bernie & Tilly. "Shelter in place" began on March 16th. Since then, Mom and Dad have been working from home, and the kids have been playing from home! Some of our home-bound activities:
Lazy mornings in PJs.
Morning chores.
Lots of blanket and pillow forts.
Sometimes with labels.
"Paris" = parents.
Video playdates.
Reading in a little-used park.
Bungee swing! It's like a regular swing, but broken!
Mom "fixed" it with resistance bands.
Still fun!
The deer have their run of things these days.
Brand new fawn hanging out in our backyard!
"Mom, you're embarrassing me!"
Kindergarten "office hours."
Playing "hair salon" in the backyard.
We are having a lot of fun but also experiencing a lot of stress. We know the kids probably won't go back to school this year, but we hope they can still do group activities this summer and start the new school year as normal. Hope your quarantine routine is going well!
